Mara Martin and her five-month-old baby, Aria, stole the show at the 2018 Miami Swim Week.
The proud mom donned a gorgeous gold bikini that was lowered on the right side so that she could feed her daughter, reports Mirror.
Little Aria sported a special pair of noise-canceling headphones to avoid the buzz at the fashion show.
Although the model and her baby had attendees at the show cheering for her, some followers on Instagram weren’t so pleased.
“What this means is nothing is sacred anymore...NOTHING!” said one follower.
“Not the time or place for that. Should be private, not everything belongs on social media,” another one added.
But the model’s fans were quick to jump to her defense.
“I’m really glad this mother is confident and responsible enough to feed her child regardless if you think its icky,” a fan said.
The mother of the newborn took to Instagram on Monday 16 July to encourage women that they “can do it all.”
“Words can’t even describe how amazing I feel after being picked to walk the runway for @si_swimsuit,” Mara wrote.
“I’m so grateful to be able to share this message and hopefully normalise breastfeeding and also show others that women CAN DO IT ALL!”
