But the ring was not what she expected nor the size she expected.

According to Daily Mail, “In a photograph posted to Reddit, the woman, believed to be from the UK, explained that she and her partner had been together for a long time and had been 'talking about getting married for almost three years' before the proposal. But the disgruntled bride-to-be was less-than-impressed with her fiancé's choice of ring, which she said he 'saved up' to buy her.”

Her partner, according to her, saved up to buy her the ring, but she was very dissatisfied with its size. Conflicted, she took to social media to ask, “This is the ring he said he saved up to buy me. Am I being shady or materialistic if I tell this mf ion want this little a** ring?”

The ring is a thin gold band with a small diamond in the centre, like any other ring but it’s just smaller than most.

The bride-to-be wore the ring regardless of her dissatisfaction, and posted it, asking others if she was being unreasonable. The post quickly gained traction on the site, racking up over 200 comments, reports The UK Sun.

Tell us what you think, is it a gesture of love and commitment regardless of the size, or should the groom-to-be have saved up a little more to buy a bigger ring?
