Time both of your days
If you just go with the flow everyday, then chances are, a week or two is going to pass by having spent very little time with your partner. On a weekday you could include him in your lunch plans. You might argue that lunch hour isn’t enough, but if you use your time wisely you’ll be amazed at the amount of difference this will make.
Dedicate a day
For couples who don’t live together this is a must. It could be a full day or the whole weekend, you choose what’s best for you. This is the one day you’re allowed to be selfish with your time and do all the things you love as a couple.
Avoid working at home
Working non-stop isn’t health for your relationship. Implement a rule that stops you from bringing work home and stick to it. During conversations, instead of asking how work was, rather ask how the day in general was. That way your topics of discussion are broad.
Make time for friends
Going out to meet and engage with other people besides your partner is always refreshing. If you don’t share mutual friends, introduce each other to your circle of friends. By doing this, you’re killing two birds with one stone, making time to be with your man and your friends. Jackpot!
Make time for a quickie
The excuse of not having time for sex is old and couples should really avoid using it. Sex isn’t limited to the bedroom only so while you’re catching up on your favourite TV show sneak in a quickie on the couch. The TV will make for great background sound.
