Twitter was buzzing when a woman posted pictures of herself and her boyfriend celebrating his divorce.
The couple left South Africans stunned on Thursday after publicly celebrating his divorce at a local restaurant.

The divorcé went on Twitter to explain that people only celebrate marriages, however he feels that a divorce can just be liberating; adding that he was thankful to his “brick throwing girlfriend”.

The girlfriend also took to the Twitter streets to excitedly announce that his boyfriend is finally a free man.

Her tweets sparked a robust debate on Twitter, with some people relating their own stories.

The girlfriend doesn't seem fazed by the negative comments and instead thanked people on Twitter who were happy for them. She added that she will be flying to Germany to spend Christmas with Robert's family.
