When you’re truly happy, the butterflies won’t completely fade away as time goes by. You will still feel like you’re falling in love all over again from time to time.
Being comfortable on the other hand will have you just going with the flow. This however isn’t an indication that you’re unhappy, you’re just not head over heels in love, you’re simply just co-existing.
Feeling safe vs being doubtful
A man who’s crazy about you will pull out all stops to ensure your safety. Whenever you’re not around him you can’t wait to snuggle back into his arms. That’s what we associate with happiness.
On the other hand, as opposed to feeling warm and safe during his presence you’re bored and sometimes crowded. If this is a constant feeling, you might want to reconsider your relationship.
Willing to grow vs anti change
The willingness to grow as a person individually and as a couple is somewhat a requirement for a happy and succesful relationship. At some point in the relationship you should be making plans and aspiring to the future you might have.
If you’re both not pushing each other to reach your potential, unfortunately the future for you two looks very blurry. You should always strive to do and be a better version of yourselves.
Living vs watching life happen
Everyday is an adventure and you’re constantly on the look out for new and exciting things. This includes taking risks together and using each experience as a learning curve.
As opposed to living in the moment, you follow a standard routine and are just happy you have someone to call a boyfriend.
