Within the hustle and bustle of daily life we often get so busy that we forget to take care of ourselves. As women we tend to make sure we look after everything and everyone else, but put our own bodies and minds last on the priority list.
Stretching yourself too far, racing from one thing to another and not taking the time to take a break has been linked to many issues in women, from exhaustion, health and mental health issues. So taking a little time for yourself isn’t “selfish” or “over indulgent” it really does improve the way you feel about yourself!
Self-care means different things for different people, and learning to love or relove yourself comes from knowing yourself – what you love, what you dislike, what your interests are. Making yourself a priority in your own life enables you to learn to truly take care of yourself the way that you should.
