Gail Mabalane is one of those women who seem to take it all in their stride: she is an actress, businesswoman, mother to one-year-old Zoe and Mrs Kabelo – and with her Halle Berry-like pixie haircut she makes looking groomed look very easy indeed.
Born in Kimberley, Gail nowadays is a well-known face on TV, thanks to her role as the sex worker Vicki in Rockville. (Catch it on Mzanzi Magic on Sunday evenings.) On the back of this and roles in popular dramas such as The Road and The Wild, the 31-year-old recently announced that she is going to put her music on the back burner to be able to dedicate herself to her acting career.
Despite her hectic schedule, Gail has added another valued mark to her résumé as the new brand ambassador for David Jones. During her spring/summer ’16 shoot with the Woolworths brand, she spoke about what makes a woman beautiful, confident and strong.
