This is one supermodel that has her feet firmly on the ground (except when she’s surfing). With campaigns for the likes of Balmain and Gucci under her fashionable belt and several Vogue covers in her portfolio, Andreea Diaconu is being taken very seriously in the industry.
Scouted at the public swimming pool in Bucharest at the age of 11, Andreea spent her early teens fending off offers from model agents. When she realised modelling could help fund her dream of tertiary education, she relented, and by 21 landed her first cover shoot for Vogue. The supermodel and face of Studio.W has since walked for everyone from Jason Wu to Chanel, Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs.
