I already always go for a bold red lip because when I smile, I like that my gap shows, making my whole lip area quite radiant in pictures. I also tend to let my eyebrows grow out and do their own thing á la Frida Kahlo, so all I need to do is brush them up with mascara and then they pop.
Besides accentuating my natural features, this is what I used to make the whole look come together:
Pore Minimising Serum, Hydra-Essential Silky Cream, and Eye contour gel to prep my skin so that the whole look comes out flawless. You can’t paint on a dirty canvas after all.
I then used the Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour in Soft Peach for a dual purpose – as eye shadow as well as blush. This was just to bring a very subtle touch of colour to my face to appear naturally flushed, but radiantly so. I completed the eye look with Be Long Mascara and some liner.
I prepped my lips for the splash of colour they were about to be doused in with the Instant Lip Comfort Oil and traced around them with Lip Liner 07 - One Shot. I then filled in with Joli Rouge 754 deep red and blended the two together to make the red more intense, as the liner is plum.
Fix Make-Up - Refreshing Mist Long-Lasting Hold was my final touch to ensure that everything stays in place during all the chatter, laughter, dining and other festivities of Christmas.
