The fact that he has gotten this far in the presidential candidacy and is leading the GOP race is quite astounding, considering all he has said in the media.
We have rounded up eight moments (although there were many more) where Donald Trump embarrassed the human race and we all just had to sit there and question our lives...
1. In 2011, he shouted at a female lawyer for expressing milk from her breasts. In private. He then called her ‘disgusting’ and basically ran from the meeting.
2. Trump started his political career by directing most of his rage at Mexico.
As reported by The Guardian, he said that Mexicans were sending drugs, rapists and criminals into the United States. He promised that once he is elected president, he will build a ‘great wall’ and make Mexicans pay for the cost of building it.
3. He said that Heidi Klum was no longer a ten. Luckily she responded in an awesome way.
4. He bullied Fox News presenter Megyn Kelly by commenting that “blood was coming out of her wherever” (seriously, like a 12 year-old boy) and called her a bimbo.
5. He tweeted about the cold weather in New York and said that we need global warming. In fact, he is one of those sad, ill-informed people who regularly confuses weather and climate.
6. He made a statement saying that in order to fight ISIS, he would kill the families of the terrorists. Yes, he said he’ll kill the families of the terrorists, because killing innocent victims (whether or not they are related to terrorists) is the right or presidential thing to do.
7. In November, he mocked the New York Times journalist Serge Kovaleski about his disability at a presidential rally. According to the Telegraph, Trump referred to the journalist and imitated his disability by waving his arms and hands in an awkward way. When asked about it later, Trump stated that he couldn’t remember what he had said and that he did not know that the reporter was handicapped.
8. In December, the billionaire proposed a ban for immigrants and visitors coming into the United States. He said that there should be a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the country. He even went as far to say that he would consider to close down some mosques in the country.
