Is Kim K going nude still a big deal?

According to Buzzfeed, Kim Kardashian has done yet another naked photo shoot to face her fears and insecurities, and this time it’s for her website.

The behind-the-scenes desert photo shoot made an appearance on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

By now, hearing that Kim Kardashian went naked for a photo shoot no longer surprises me. There is no shaming of Kim here, even the faith I follow is against judgment, but we see Kim naked almost all the time.

The last time we saw her nude, she was bare front and back, on a mission to break the internet on the cover of Paper Magazine, and her Instagram shots in her birthday suit are always flawless. (I can’t even hate).

What surprised me though is when she spoke about her skin condition called psoriasis on the reality show. Because we normally see Kim K use shocking methods to maintain her good looks, it’s easy to forget that she too has imperfections.

While another naked Kim K photo shoot could easily be annoying, I admire that she counters the insecurity of a skin condition, by showing skin, even though she risks being both loved and hated.

Having said that, she is not the first one (and I doubt she will be the last) to bare her body as a way to shed her insecurities.

We all have different ways of finding self-confidence, and Kim’s way is sharing her physique with us very candidly.

It is even part of her brand, so should it still be news?
