You don’t want to miss Kenny Kunene’s roast

The sushi king will be roasted and, boy, will he leave a fishy smell.

Kenny is one of the most scandalous personalities the South African public has been exposed to: he ate sushi off half naked women(and was extremely proud of it), he’s an ex-convict turned millionaire, he has an army of girlfriends ready to fight in his name and enjoys throwing hundred rand notes to a large crowd of people.

Oh, and he is a comrade for Julius Malema’s EFF political party despite having his own party, Patriotic Alliance.

With all that under his belt,  it’s safe to say that Kenny has unintentionally supplied his roasters with plenty of ammunition.

According to Drum, Kenny will take Leon Schuster’s place after the funny man had a change of heart about being on the hot seat.  Most of us were looking forward to witnessing Leon Schuster finally getting a taste of his own medicine.

He enjoys pulling pranks on ordinary citizens and celebrities, it would have been highly entertaining to hear what people actually think of him and his recycled movie ideas.

Nonetheless, we anticipate Kenny to be more amusing  than last year’s roastee Steve Hofmeyer. The Sushi King/Comrade is a very chilled man who doesn’t take life too seriously so we’re pretty sure his responses to the jokes shot at him will be funny.

The roast is scheduled to happen on the 3 April on Comedy Central, and who knows, the publicity might just win him some votes and soldiers for his army.
