Have you ever seen Delmer Watson's famous photo from the '50s showing Sophia Loren giving Jayne Mansfield, or rather, Jayne Mansfield's boobs, the most disapproving side-eyes?
The picture was particularly hilarious because the Italian Sophia, modestly dressed and with her unassuming haircut, the very image of demureness, looks so viciously unimpressed with the American Jayne, with her BIG hair and BIG boobs, the very image of loudness.
And now, according to Perez Hilton, Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara from Modern Family recreated the famous photo on a recent episode of the show.
Don't you just love it?
It's such a subtle joke to add to the show too; so easy to miss.
It's the little details like these that make Modern Family such a great show. This isn't the first time Modern Family has recreated a famous image either. In season 3, the family purposefully re-enacted Freedom from Want, Norman Rockwell's painting of a typical, happy American family.

We honestly can't blame Julie or her character Claire for the obvious jealousy in her expression. Sofia's boobs are so amazing, she actually thanked them in her acceptance speech at the 20th Screen Actors Guild Awards:
