According to madamnoire, an anonymous Reddit user shared a picture of his friend dressed as Ray Rice and dragging a blow up doll meant to be Ray’s wife, Janay.
The football player was suspended from the NFL and his contract with the Baltimore Ravens was terminated after shocking footage of Ray punching his then-fiancée, Janay Palmer in a lift in Atlantic City leaked on the internet.
The user posted the image in Reddit’s ‘Too Soon’ forum – a section dedicated to insensitive humour- and captioned it: “Ladies were falling for my friend’s Ray Rice costume.”
The post has since been deleted, but the image is still being shared on social media.
Classy. Really classy.
The worst part of all of this? There are people who actually think this is funny.

Domestic violence is no laughing matter and making fun of either Ray Rice or his wife Janay is not acceptable. It’s disgusting. Not only does Janay have to face her abuser every day, but she was embarrassed and ridiculed when that video leaked, and now the same thing is happening again.
Why? Because someone needed a clever idea for a Halloween costume? Shame on them. There are many other hilarious, inoffensive and current costumes that can be opted for instead.
I’m glad to say though, that there those who don’t think this is funny at all
The Ray Rice costume is offensive and inhuman. Domestic Violence is not a joke and shouldn't be portrayed as one.

I will never ever laugh at a Ray Rice costume. Do you not understand that that actually happened to an actual person?

Society's race to the bottom surges on with that Ray Rice costume.
