Marten Williams Jr. has apparently “targeted and harassed and stalked” the talk show host and her family since 2006 and reportedly has a history of mental illness. The judge granted the talk show host a restraining order which is valid until 28 October, whereafter a hearing will determine whether the order becomes permanent.
Tyra claims, in the court documents, that Marten believes he “killed George Bush Jr.” and that Michael Jackson is still alive.
He has left “frightening letters and items” at her home in Beverly Hills. Included in the items were his prescription medication and a note referencing a wedding ceremony set for 1 August 2011 – the day he believes he will marry Tyra.
