The 64-year-old poses in a black bodysuit and admits her 'friend’s' shapewear makes her feel free.
She says, “Kim saw a video of me, she heard my story and said ‘this is so unfair’. I didn’t even know who Kim Kardashian was, she went to war for me to fight for my freedom, that’s why I call her my war angel because nothing stood between her and my freedom.”
Alice was sentenced to life imprisonment after reportedly being involved in a minor drug offence as a first-time offender.
Kim retweeted Alice’s story in 2017, and that’s where her involvement in prison reform sparked. In an interview with Today, Kim says she made a call to advisor to the U.S. president Ivanka Trump – which eventually resulted in Alice being granted clemency by the country’s president.
Following this, Kim started to study law in preparation for the bar exam to become a lawyer. She says she worked as an assistant to her attorneys on the First Step Act, also known as The Formerly Incarcerated Re-enter Society Transformed Safely Transitioning Every Person Act, published in 2018.
And now, Alice has featured on Kim’s Skims campaign alongside professional models and Kim herself.
However, there has been mixed reactions about the campaign on social media.
I thought it was modeling for pictures but Kim has her in there giving a testimonial about how she saved her life :( in an underwear advert? https://t.co/9R1HF163O4

Dude, we don’t even know if she was paid. They might’ve told her she was gaining “exposure”.
