Celebrities are often known to partner with brands to star launch products or to take on the entrepreneurial journeys themselves. Many stars have gone this route in South Africa and internationally.
Here we list celebrities who have started multiple entrepreneurial projects outside their entertainment careers.

After receiving much fan-praise for decorating and furnishing her newly built home in 2017, DJ Zinhle now lent her creative skills in her latest creative project offering custom seating and bedroom décor items.
This, however, is not DJ Zinhle’s first entrepreneurial endeavour. In 2009 she became the co-founder of Fuse Academy, a women’s deejaying school, with business partner Nomndeni Mdakhi, and is the name and face behind jewellery line Era by DJ Zinhle.
Nkateko ‘Takkies’ Dinwiddy
Following her days on So You Think You Can Dance and being a member girl group, Fly Chix, Takkies founded a dancing business, Rockingnheels, where she is also an instructor. She has also linked a merch collection of t-shirts, hoodies and knitted sets to her dance business.
