Kate thinks it's ridiculous how it can feel like a bit of a political act for a woman over 32 to be having fun.
In an interview for the June issue of Women’s Health the actress revealed that she finds it frustrating that people consider women to be risqué, for doing this or getting tattoos, whereas men are praised for doing the same, and not constantly questioned about having kids.

“I witness men constantly doing whatever they like, whether that’s in relationships, or deciding to buy a motorbike, or getting a tattoo. It hasn't been interpreted as, ‘Why hasn’t he had more children?’ or, ‘Is he ever going to decide to become a parent?’ or, ‘Why has he had so many girlfriends?’"
