Michelle Obama creates Instagram TV series featuring 4 tertiary students to tackle academic stress, friendships and finances

Created as part of the Obama’s Reach Higher Initiative on higher education, Michelle Obama will premiere an Instagram TV series at the end of this month. The series will conclude in June.

In partnership with ATTN, the TV series will showcase the highs and lows as four students' experiences in their first year of college in a series called ‘The Year of Firsts’.

“By sharing their stories, they’re helping others see that the ups and downs of the first year of college are something everyone goes through – and they’re creating a supportive community for others facing similar challenges,” the former first lady said, speaking to CNN.

According to CNN, the series will explore issues the academic stress of college, making new friends, college affordability and the physical and mental health while in college.
