Oprah Winfrey says she's glad she didn't get married

The couple have been together since 1986 and she's thankful that her partner has always allowed her to be "who she needs to be" as she thinks their relationship would've changed if they'd made their union official because she would've felt too restricted.

The star also admitted that there was a point when she though about having children. However, while working on the Oprah Winfrey show she witnessed the "depth of responsibility and sacrifice that is needed to be a parent" and it caused her to have a change of heart.
