Because she's a princess one might think she spends her days shopping and having high tea, but this one actually has a full time job.
According to Amy Duncan in this Metro article, the princess began her studies to obtain a Combined Honours BA at New Castle University in 2009. She went on to complete her Combined Honours in English Literature, Art History and Politics in 2012.
Thereafter the princess moved to New York for a while before relocating back to London where she works full-time as an associate director at an art gallery called Hauser and Wirth.

The princess and her sister Beatrice, have no obligatory royal duties, such as the ones Prince Harry and Prince William do, so they do not benefit from the Sovereign grant or Privy purse as some call it.
It's a grant that covers the expenses of the members of a royal family as a source of income for Queens and Kings, according to Naomi Bartram in this Cosmopolitan article.
This doesn't necessarily mean that the princess must work for a living since her estimated fortune is £3.6 million (R69 635 849,27) according to Holly O'Mahony from The Sun.
She is said to have inherited a huge amount of money from the late Queen Mother, combined with the trust fund money she received from her mother's divorce from Duke Andrew.
Besides her full time work in the London art gallery, the princess also busies herself with a number of charity organisations.
She has done work for charities such as Teenage Cancer Trust of which she became a patron of in 2016 as well as Children in Crisis which was set up to help impoverished women and children in third-world countries.
