When you think of Rihanna, a few words come into mind — confidence, daring and risk-taker.

It may surprise you that even some of the biggest stars have moments of self-doubt regardless of showing unmatched confidence. For Rihanna, it was at the 2015 Met Gala where she wore a yellow Guo Pei outfit with a coat that cascaded down the steps.

We cannot even begin to argue how iconic some of Rihanna's red carpet looks have been, but what was so different with this one that made her slightly doubtful?

In an interview with Access on Wednesday, the musician says, "I remember being so scared to get out of the car because I felt like, 'I'm doing too much.' I was driving past the red carpet and I was just seeing gowns. I was like, 'Oh my god, I'm a clown and people are gonna laugh at me. This is too much.'"

Her doubts came because of the coat and how big it was, so much so that it needed choreography. "The choreography of getting in the car and getting out — like, we had to choreograph it. Who sits at the doors? Where does the coat go? Where do I sit?"

It's safe to say it was worth it in the end as everyone remembers that ensemble.
