The Global Citizen concert is just four days away and fans that haven't won tickets to see Beyoncé are not coping

The Global Citizen festival, which will take place in four days at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, is set to showcase an incredible lineup of local and international artists at the concert, and one artist who's created a buzz around the event is the original Queen B herself, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter.

Earlier this year, it was announced that a majority of the tickets to this one-of-a-kind concert would not be sold, but could be won through selfless acts of kindness and charity work.

From the start, people had mixed emotions and hilarious reactions about having to win tickets; but now that the opportunity to see Beyoncé, and other artists including Sho Madjozi, Ed Shereen, Tiwa Savage and Chris Martin, perform live in South Africa is seemingly far from reach, people have been having meltdowns on all our newsfeeds at the thought of not seeing the queen perform for the very first time in SA. 

Listen, we totally empathise! Imagine not seeing the queen of Beychella perform in the very space that your body is in!

But some of the meltdowns are hilarious and relatable enough to make you want to write a personal letter to the organisation and request more tickets to be given away. 

In the midst of the rants on social media, people have called for boycotts against the Global Citizen organisation and even against Ms Carter herself (I believe that we don't always mean the things we say when we're hurt) but I hope that I won't get shot for saying this: it's not the end of the world. 

According to the SABC website, the event will be broadcasted across the country. "DStv will broadcast the event live to all its customers throughout South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. It will also carry the responsibility to film the event and provide the live broadcast to the SABC and other international broadcast partners who will extend the reach world-wide."

The live broadcast is set to be available on DStv channel 199 to all its customers across the African continent.
