Abigail gets the paternity test results. Kate delights when she drops by Paul’s hotel room with some paperwork only to discover he’s spent the night with Derrick. Justin tries to warn Kate off of Clyde once more. Rafe cancels his plans to help out with a Little League event that Hope and Aiden will attend.
Brady breaks the news to Eric and Nicole of Xander's new position as a gardener at the mansion. Theresa's earlier visit with Caroline almost ends in disaster when Anne runs in and almost reveals Theresa is faking her injury to stay close to Brady.
Brady confronts Theresa about her phony broken ankle and forces her to tell the truth. Serena attends to Caroline, who is suffering from a stroke. Nicole and Xander have a tense exchange. Ben throws the news of his engagement to Abigail in Chad's face – as his nervous fiancée looks on. Abigail admits to Ben she’s pregnant.
Abigail tells JJ and Jennifer she and Ben are engaged – and she is pregnant. Clyde later interrupts an affectionate Aiden and Hope. Kayla lets everyone know Caroline's prognosis is good. Maggie pays a visit to Nicole and surprises Daniel's bride-to-be by giving her blessing to the marriage.
Paul and John bond over breakfast, and Kate arrives to stir up trouble. Will wants to know what went wrong with Derrick and Paul, and Derrick bluntly points out he believes Paul is still in love with Sonny. Aiden makes inquiries about Clyde as Clyde makes inquiries about Aiden.
