Aiden lies to Hope, telling her he was attacked by an anonymous mugger. Marlena has found out John intends leaving the Salem PD and go back to work for the ISA. John sees Rafe’s reaction to a mention of Hope, and is twigged to what Rafe might be feeling.
Aiden is tender as he makes sure Hope wants him to spend the night at her place. Using the bug she planted, Eve listens in as JJ tells Jennifer he thinks Paige still loves him. Maggie tracks Victor down at the hospital, where he’s paying a late night visit to Caroline.
Theresa finds Xander in the mansion and promises not to reveal he disobeyed Victor’s orders. Serena tells Eric she's decided to stay in Salem. Furious Xander returns to the mansion and Theresa implements her new plan by kissing him. Ben wants to elope with Abigail to Vegas but she talks him out of it.
Rafe continues to fight his feelings for Hope as he reveals he’s petitioned to get reinstated to the force. Abigail confides in Will what happened with Chad and Stefano. Chad and Serena hit it off and it looks like drinks may lead to something more. Theresa plays up her role of victim to get closer to Brady.
At Club TBD, Chad and Serena lose their troubles in booze as Clyde looks on. Ben kisses Abigail’s tummy and says he’s finally going to have the family he’s always wanted. Eve tells Kyle about JJ’s undercover work. Will, wanting to get his mind off of Sonny, asks Marlena how things are going with John.
