It turns out to be Valerie Grant. Ciara stays with nervous Theo as he waits, Kayla and Valerie continue to care for Abe.
Ciara helps Theo sneak into his dad’s room so he can speak with his dad. Rafe surprises Hope with an impromptu camping trip. Deimos asks Victor to continue to keep the secret that he knows about the paternity of Chloe’s baby. Victor calls a family meeting. Steve and Kayla take stock of their relationship and look forward to the future.

Theo crosses with Andre at the party who is caring and supportive of his nephew. After a Halloween game, Joey and Jade sneak off to make out. Abe and Valerie discuss Theo’s apparent dislike of her. Hope, Rafe, and Roman reel as Hope's confession to killing Stefano is broadcast to the public.
Chad arrives with Gabi just in time to overhear and is stunned by this revelation. Ciara learns from Jennifer's reaction that her mother may indeed be guilty, while Hope confronts her accuser. John and Steve search frantically for Kayla and Marlena while the villain reveals himself to captive Marlena and Kayla who just may be close to taking their last breaths.
