Abigail is finally ready to let Chad know she’s alive. She asks Jennifer for help in presenting herself. On the verge of revealing herself, Chad says he going to put his wife behind him.Crushed, Abigail flees. Rafe is surprised to learn Gabi quit her job with Chad. Coco and Sheila plan to take Hope down. Andre offers to take Abigail to Chad. Chad confides in Theo about what he’s learned about Stefano.

Gabi’s overheard that JJ’s keeping another secret. Chad consoles an upset Gabi. Ciara speaks with Julie about Theo, and Julie advises her to let it go. Abe and Valerie get closer. Abigail flees unseen after witnessing Gabi and Chad in a moment. JJ runs into Lani, who’s back in town…Lani meets Valerie and assumes by her chemistry with Abe that the pair are a couple.

 Brady cautions Deimos to not hurt Chloe. However, Deimos tells Victor that he may have no choice. Chloe is afraid Nicole knows the truth about the baby’s paternity. Nicole later calls Deimos to tell him Chloe decided not to return to Salem… but Nicole will be back sometime tonight. Kate accompanies apprehensive Adrienne to an appointment.

Lucas shows up as well. Deimos and Brady become increasingly concerned when Nicole fails to return to Salem. Chloe and Nicole bond as guilt-ridden Chloe’s contractions become closer. Chad and Gabi plan to spend Christmas together. Dario finds Paul snooping around his shipments on the dock, and Sonny intervenes.
