After a night of binging on alcohol, Chad wakes in his bed and tries to piece together the memories of what happened the night before. Eric is concerned when he can’t get in contact with Serena. Later, he’s horrified when he finds Serena... murdered in the park.
Chad is deeply unsettled about not being able to remember what happened the previous night. Hope and Rafe investigate Serena’s murder. John officially ends his short stint on the Salem PD. Caroline admits to Kayla she feels uneasy for some reason.
Kayla is stunned when Steve returns to town with Joey. Hope doesn’t turn down Aiden’s proposal, but she doesn’t say yes, either. Rafe questions Chad about the last time he was with Serena Mason, and Chad admits he came on a bit too strong and they parted ways at Club TBD.
John takes Marlena on a trip down memory lane to prove his devotion to her. Theresa is once again rebuffed by Brady. Clyde's arrogance leads Kate to break up with him. Kyle demands JJ sample their newest shipment of drugs to make sure it's up to snuff.
Hope gets opinions from those nearest and dearest to her about Aiden’s marriage proposal. Rafe questions Paige and Chad about the night Serena was murdered. JJ awakes to find Kyle gone and himself alone with Clyde.
