Maggie is scheduled for surgery, but she’s also worried about Tate. Belle and Shawn are still at odds over Claire’s future. Both agree they can’t force her to go to college, but Belle is still torn. Chloe has another nightmare in which Deimos learns the truth about her baby.
As Theo breaks the news of Abigail's death to a stunned Ciara, a grieving Chad tells Belle that he plans on giving up his custody fight and letting Jennifer raise Thomas. Claire and Theo use her new song to find comfort in the wake of tragedy and come together in a kiss, as Ciara declares her love to Chad.
Theresa, Brady and John track down the woman who took Tate to Chicago. Maggie is examined by the doctor, who predicts she will recover given the right PT. Victor is taken to the police station. Justin reveals he was forced to resign as DA. Rafe storms in to confront Abe about naming Aiden the new DA.
Jennifer wakes up, horrified to discover Belle and Kayla in the motel room. Ciara tells Chad that she truly loves him. Belle goes to check on Chad, and confirms that Jennifer did in fact relapse. Claire gets Theo to stay, hoping he'll make a move but he's too intent on talking about Ciara.
Victor’s been brought in for questioning. Victor demands that the police take a closer look at Deimos. Philip meets with Chloe and wants an answer about the offer he made: she’s pregnant with Deimos’ child, and Philip’s willing to pretend to be the father to save her from Deimos’ reach.
