Gabriel wakes up to newspaper headlines painting him as corrupt. Lalage goes on a mission to find out whose hotel room Hendrik paid for.

Phindi, Mpumi and Lungi have some awkward moments.

Gabriel's challenge to Sechaba to fight it out in public is accepted. Lincoln helps Lalage get professional help. Phindile's judgement of Mpumi and Lungi blows up in her face.

A devious Gabriel turns the tables on Sechaba. Lalage and Hendrik feel the strain Lalage's mental illness has on their lives. Phindile and Mpumi decide to start over as friends. 

Gabriel catches Sechaba off guard. Things get awkward for Wendy and Hendrik when Lalage asks Wendy to do her and Hendrik a favour. Makgorometsa starts developing a crush.

The debate gets heated and one candidate is defeated. Hendrik and Lalage drift apart. Makgorometsa trusts the wrong person.
