Yvonne receives great news, but her joy is short-lived and she utters a rash wish. Ingrid comes up with a plan which she wants kept secret. Gloria's confidence is dented when her ego takes a knock.
Yvonne is instructed to use her talents at the card table, but learns that extra duties will also be involved. Ingrid believes she is close to finding the answers she is looking for. Gloria leaps to the wrong conclusion and Kgosi volunteers to be a spy.
Yvonne lightly 'accepts' an appalling offer which she assumes is a joke. Nervous Ingrid reaches out to a stranger. The Ngemas and the Legaes change their minds in order to improve their chances.
Yvonne realises she has unwittingly made a terrible mistake which has set awful consequences in motion. Ingrid reveals the truth about herself to someone she has just met. Two families seem doomed to sabotage each other.
Boniswa is blissfully unaware of why fences are being mended. Ingrid is surprised by a change of heart. Two enemy camps are forced to become one.
