It was the biggest outage in years for BlackBerry users when a link in Research in Motion's infrastructure failed for three days resulting in an outage of e-mail, messaging and internet services across four continents.

While some users took to their PCs to tweet about their frustrations with RIM's service, iPhone and Android users voiced their smug opinions in thousands of hilarious posts. Here are some of our favourites:
