5 best relationship apps

For those of you who thought there was maybe some corner of the market the internet hadn’t thought of, oh how wrong you would be.

Couples everywhere can now download an app to make sure they never have to spend even a nano-second apart. From weird ‘thumb-kisses’ to suffocatingly needy messages and cutesy couple pics, these apps have it all covered!

And this way, at least the rest of us are saved from their Facebook PDA clogging up our newsfeeds.

We have compiled a list of apps that will make help any couple keep the spark alive. So if your relationship is in a bit of a rut or if it feels more fizzle than sizzle, we have the answer for you.

The one for a new romance: Am I in love?

Am I in love asks you a series of questions to help you get to the bottom of your real feelings about someone.

It asks really in-depth, analytical questions like “Do you ever worry about his problems?” and “have you introduced him to your friends and family” to make sure it gives you the most accurate results.

At the end of these emotional draining and highly personal questions where they have very thoughtfully streamlined all your possible answers into either ‘A’ ‘B’ or ‘C,’ the app will tell you just how in love you are with your man.

And then give you the option to share this news with Facebook, obviously.

The one for time to spare: Avocado

This is an app just for you and your ‘beau.’

The app is a kind of whatsapp designed just for you and your lover.

Avocado gives you the option to send that special someone pictures, messages, drawings, contacts and create joint to-do lists. It even sends a message to your man if your battery is running low, just to keep him in the loop.

We played around with it for awhile and had lots of fun drawing silly pictures and wasting time. It’s a cute app if you have lots of time to on your hands. And it really does help keep things between the two of you flirty and fun!

The one that will keep things interesting: Kahnoodle

Kahnoodle is a fun way of sending love coupons to your partner.

Gone are the days of handwritten love-notes, Kahnoodle is the digital-version that makes IOU’s fun and sexy.

If you’ve made a mistake, just had a big fight, or want to keep things interesting in the bedroom, Kahnoodle will be your partner in crime. The app helps you send kinky “koupons” for absolutely everything from a ”steamy shower” to a night of bondage in bed. It’s lots of fun and it’s free!

The ones for the over-eighteens: Kindu and Fantasy Finder

Kindu and Fantasy Finder are two apps that help you and your partner discover a whole other side to your love life.

For all those fantasy’s you’ve been too scared to suggest, Kindu and Fantasy finder gives you the opportunity to share the kind of kinky you’ve been craving and make it a reality.

The one for the marriage on the rocks: Mymarriage

Mymarriage is an app run by professional marriage coach, Dr. Jackie.

The app is designed to help a marriage through even the biggest crises and Dr. Black covers everything from quick tips to videos, articles, podcasts and self-assessments in what she describes as a “quick reference guide” to help you “live your best life with the love of your life.”

We’re not exactly sure an app is a sure-fire way to save a marriage, but at least it’s a start, and the app is free so you’ve got nothing to lose!

The one that we think is the best: Couple

Couple is similar to avocado, but better.

This incredible app was invented by a group of men on a business trip who became frustrated when they called their loved ones back home.

Feeling unsatisfied, they created couple, an app for long-distance couples that help them to stay connected through pictures, sketches and other interactions.

What makes this app so great is the live sketch option. If you and your partner are using it at the same time, you can sketch on the same canvas simultaneously which helps you to feel as if you are right next to your significant other, despite the distance between you.

The most popular feature, and definitely the cutest, is the thumb kiss.
If you are both online at the same time, you can place your thumb on the screen and your thumb print is transmitted to your partner’s screen. The screen then turns red and vibrates – meaning you’ve just “kissed.”

If you’re single, the whole idea might leave you feeling sick because let’s face it, the whole thing is pretty soppy, but for couples, the app makes being apart not so difficult and creates a unique way to help you connect with your partner.
