If your Tinder matches are looking a little bit dry, your OKCupid profile hasn’t yielded anything interesting and you can’t get a text back from that cutie you met at the bar last week, then you might just have a new option at your finger tips – Hater.
The new dating site matches you with someone based on the things you both hate.
According to Tech Crunch, the app started off as a joke, with the idea being part of an online comedy sketch Hater founder and CEO Brendan Alper was planning to publish, but then he realised the app actually had real appeal.
So how does it work?
Instead of swiping left or right on people’s images like you would on Tinder, you get a series of topics to like, dislike, love or hate.
Sounds pretty simple, right? Unfortunately it doesn’t really get down to why you feel this way about a particular topic or how you loved that first season of How To Get Away with Murder or Girls, but think it’s become a bit more boring recently, or even vice versa.
But maybe that just gives you more things to talk about when you eventually go on a date?
Unfortunately, the app is only available on iOS for now, but here’s hoping it launches on Android soon.
