These cute dad and baby pics in response to Piers Morgan's sexist tweet will melt your heart

Another day, another moronic comment from Piers Morgan.

The controversial columnist and television presenter has never been shy to voice opinions about the gender wage gap (they’re not worth repeating here), as he also polices women.

Boorish at times, Piers’s take no prisoners attitude constantly results in him fighting with the rest of the internet.

But this time, what started off as a tweet that still shows how prevalent toxic masculinity is, ended up in a thread of responses that celebrates the joy of fatherhood.

Seriously, we swooned.

Piers' tweet was in response to seeing a photo of James Bond actor Daniel Craig carrying his child in a papoose (a baby carrier).

In his tweet he refers to Craig as being emasculated because of his use of the carrier.

Twitter wasn’t having any of his nonsense though.

According to Stylist.co.uk, the backlash was immediate, hilarious and, surprisingly enough heartwarming

(Side note: You know you’ve really tweeted something eye-roll worthy when even Twitter’s sassiest dictionary comes for you)

Mostly, the responses proved that men holding babies in whatever way is comfortable, whether using a sling carrier or using their arms, is far from emasculating and merely shows fatherly devotion in the most adorable manner possible.

And best of all, men proudly jumped in to respond by posting pics of them holding their children – proving that once again, Piers is just a little out of touch with reality and that being a dad certainly doesn’t mean you should be concerned with the way you present your parenting style to the world.

Just look at the cuteness.

Seriously. Our hearts are bursting with joy at these pics. Go dads!

Okay, okay. Just a few more. We absolutely cannot resist. *melts in puddle of goo* I mean, I don't even want any kids of my own, but my ovaries are exploding. Devoted papoose-carrying dads are life.

Make sure to check out all the glorious responses to that thread here. It will absolutely make your day.

Of course, we’re not surprised that Piers would be policing someone else’s parenting since he’s constantly shaming people who don’t fit in with his idea of convention (read: archaism). While he’s been doubling down on his tweet, at least we get to see loads of cute pics of dads holding and bonding with their children.

And judging by the responses from most of us, seeing men holding their babies in whatever way they want to as long as it’s safe, secure and comfortable for the baby, is beyond adorable.
