You will need
- Woodoc Water-Borne FLOOR Matt Clear
- Woodoc Colours Bright Green
- mixing containers
- untreated wooden beads (120 x 20mm beads, 45 x 10mm beads and 3 x 25mm beads; the number of beads will depend on the size of your bucket)
- thin wire
- plastic bucket
- hot glue gun
Here's how...
1 Decant about 100ml of Woodoc Water-Borne FLOOR Matt Clear into each of the containers. Add a little bit of Woodoc Colours Bright Green to two of the containers; add more colour to one than the other. Mix well.
2 Use the wire to make little hooks that fit through the beads so you can hang them on a line to dry.
3 Dip the beads into the Woodoc mixtures and hang them out to dry on the hooks you’ve made. Colour a third of the 20mm beads with the darker mixture, a third with the lighter mixture and the last third, as well as the 10mm and 25mm beads, with the Woodoc Water-Borne FLOOR Matt Clear. Let it dry.
4 Starting at the base of the bucket, apply the beads with hot glue. We created two rows of dark beads followed by two rows of lighter beads and then two rows of clear beads. Finish off with a row of small beads around the rim of the bucket.
5 Turn the bucket over and attach the three large beads to the bottom with hot glue to create feet, making sure they are equally spaced.
