We know Home readers love being at, well, home but a fun trip to broaden your horizons is always something to consider, right?
Just book, we’ll do the rest.
The art of Greek cooking
Hosted in association with The Talking Table, this experience is one for the foodies. Set against the azure backdrop of the Aegean Sea, you’ll get the chance to learn the art of Greek cooking in the best family-owned tavernas and local kitchens in the picturesque seaside town of Molyvos.
Try your hand at culinary favourites such as meatballs, dolmades and baklava in small groups of two to three – you can even make your own cheese! There will also be plenty of free time to explore the village, its shops and tavernas – as well as various hiking trails and stunning beaches. Then watch the sun go down and experience the Greek feeling of “kefi” – true enjoyment of life.
For the duration of your stay, you will enjoy the comforts of a tranquil manor house in the middle of the village. Every morning, breakfast is served in the garden before we head off for the day’s activities. Of course, we also get to enjoy everything we cook, whether in a local home or while taking in the view at a cosy taverna.
Evening meals are prepared by our hosts and enjoyed around a long table back at the manor house – guests are encouraged to join in this preparation, putting their newly learnt skills into practice.
