6 strange celebrity endorsements

accreditation
We love celebrities. Let’s face it. They’re famous. They’re cool. And they do funny (and sometimes stupid things). The following is mostly an example of the latter. Some of these will make you laugh, and some of these will just astound you. They get a bit weird from here on out.

Eva Longoria – Sheba cat food
The gorgeous actress has a pawsitively ( I couldn’t resist) great time shaking her hips around her house, dancing on her furniture, and basically doing a much sexier version of what you do at home in your jammies when you hear your favourite song. What this has to do with cat food? Beats me.

Mr T – Flavourwave Oven
What better way to advertise a product than having a former TV action star break down a door while walking onto the set? Now that is TV history right there. “Look, Ma. I’m cookin’!” would you like some extra cheese with that?

Meagan Fox – Intel Acer
This gem features the Transformers actress as a dolphin expert (no, your eyes do not deceive you) who works tirelessly to communicate with them. The weirdest part is when they give the dolphin this weird animatronic voice. It’s officially ruined the movie Flipper for me forever.

Jean-Claude Van Damme – GoDaddy
Okay, this one is a service not a product (my economics teacher would be so proud), but it’s just so damn strange that we had to show it to you. The action star doing the splits across two bags of flour while playing bongos is something I thought I would never see. Thank you, GoDaddy for making that possible.

Ozzy Osbourne – I can’t believe it’s not butter
I can’t believe Ozzy did this ad. The Prince of Darkness himself and a lookalike are in the kitchen making something from a TV show. One of them (it’s hard to tell which is which) then goes to the fridge and can’t tell the difference between two clearly marked products. How quaint.

Brad Pitt – Chanel no 5
Now Brad could probably just look at me and I would buy five of whatever he was selling, but this ad was a bit odd. The World War Z actor stares into the camera and does this odd monologue that seems to have come from some B grade rom-com that wouldn’t even cross his desk under normal circumstances.
