Trolley wars: Why we love grocery shopping

It’s really bad if you send someone else and you write the shopping list according to the store layout of the local Pick n Pay.

Hi, Lili!

Now I’m not sending you this chatback to start a trolley war or anything, but I suspect my own fondness for grocery shopping might even exceed yours.  So much so that I actually find excuses for not doing it all in one weekly go.  I usually go out to top up our grocery levels more than once a week – and to various stores.

I wish I could say that I do this in an effort to find the best deals and save money, but that would be a blatantly outrageous lie.  It’s the variety high I’m chasing and mama needs regular fixes.

However, should anyone else ask – let’s just stick with “I dabble in local investments and have a diverse portfolio”.

I totally get you Lili... I also love seeing what the grocery stores have on special, trying out the samples, looking at new brands, and most of all the new deli / convenience meals that they bring out. I am in this phase right now where all my meals are strictly ready-made, and the meal options they have are so great. I may never cook again :)
