Here’s a modern-day fairytale that’ll melt your heart!
When Twitter user Rosey Blair and her boyfriend boarded a flight to Dallas, US, they realised they weren’t seated next to each other. So she decided to ask a fellow passenger, a woman, to switch seats with her so she could sit next to her beau.
The pair then joked that the woman, whose name hasn’t been revealed, might find even love with her new seat partner.
“Last night on a flight home, my boyfriend and I asked a woman to switch seats with me so we could sit together,” Rosey posted on Twitter. “We made a joke that maybe her new seat partner would be the love of her life and well, now I present you with this thread.”
Mere moments later a man, later identified to be Scottish-American Euan Holden (30), a former professional soccer player, sat down next to the woman – and that’s when the magic began.
When Rosey saw the woman’s hunky seat partner she though her comment might actually turn out to be accurate.
And, like any Twitter user would, Rosey decided to document the ongoing love story.
Euan called the thread “hilarious” and told Rosey he knew she took a picture of him and the girl at the airport.
“Oh man!” Rosey replied. “You caught us! We thought we were so slick!”
“Haha, only when the flight landed did I suspect something,” Euan replied, adding a laughing and crying emoji. “Glad we could keep you entertained.”
While he agreed to let the couple share his name the woman hasn’t given her permission.
After some impressive detective work Rosey’s
boyfriend found the loved-up pair’s Instagram accounts, which showed they’re single
and living in Dallas.
“They’re gonna fall in love, and get married, and have babies!” she said in a video update.
It looks as if there’s hope after all!
