There’s PDA and then there’s things that should rather be kept to the privacy of your own home or hotel room. But this couple seem oblivious to that as they recently caught some social-media flack for their overly amorous actions on a plane.

It wasn’t long before someone came up with the pun “jetflix and chill” to describe their behaviour, Mirror reports.

A picture posted on the website PassengerShaming.com’s Instagram account shows the woman, wearing a light blue shirt, straddling a man in his seat on a flight. They’re locking lips and she’s holding his face in her hands. His hands are on her hips. The couple appear blissfully unaware that they’re surrounded by other passengers.

A man sitting in the seat directly next to the couple is clearly uncomfortable, judging by his body language.

The post has been liked more than 12 000 times – and commenters aren’t holding back their opinions on the sordid situation.

“Why can I smell this pic?” one wrote.

“What do you even do if you’re sitting next to this? Fight, flight, or freeze?” another asked.

A third tried to make light of the situation, suggesting we don’t really know what happened. “I think he refused to get up to let her into her seat, she tried to straddle over him, then the plane hit some turbulence and she fell onto his lap as they bumped lips.”

Either way, we’re just glad we weren’t on that plane.
