Tannen Ordunev, 23, recreated a photo of herself after dropping over 88kg, and she looks unrecognisable as she poses in an outfit, which is now 14 sizes smaller.

The package handler can be seen wearing a size 8XL and weighing 152kg in one image. In another, she gleams with pride as she weighs about 64kg.

"I decided to recreate the photo as a reminder of how far I have come. I feel and look like a completely different person," she says.

"When I look at old photos, I'm in shock as I didn't think I was that big."

Tannen, from Califonia, USA, decided to lose weight when she was told she was pre-diabetic with high blood pressure.

"I have been overweight since I was a kid and I yo-yo dieted my whole life. It's quite scary being told you have health complications at 19," she says.

Tannen underwent gastric bypass surgery - a procedure where surgical staples are used to create a small pouch at the top of the stomach. "The surgery saved my life. I hope I will be able to help someone get up and make a move by sharing my story," she says.

"It is hard at the start but completely worth it."
