In response to Lili's newsletter, a reader feels that living healthy is more important than losing weight this 2014

I am forever making and breaking (with equal speed ) a whole long list of new year's resolutions. 

This year though I was determined to lose weight, after all just because I am nearing the big 50 does not mean I have to look all frumpy, does it? 

I did see an uphill battle as I really like the sweet stuff way too much. Life can be funny though and two weeks ago I was diagnosed with Diabetes, this means I have to look at a new healthier way of life and that includes cutting down on the carbs and cutting out the sweet!

So, it looks like I will be fulfilling one of my resolutions at last, I will be living healthy and losing weight. This time I have no excuses and everything to gain!
