"Plus-size” supermodel almost unrecognisable on cover say fans

accreditation
Here we go again, Ashley Graham is the latest victim of retouching as Maxim's new April cover shows her looking quite different from her normal self.

The model, known for being the first-ever curvy model to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated, received controversial reactions from her fans on Instagram, after she proudly posted her latest cover.

The American model told Maxim that her life at the moment has been quite “naked”, which is why the 28-year-old had no problem posing nude on their cover with only a white button-down shirt held in front of her for mild coverage.

Her fans took to social media to express their disdain with her Photoshopped appearance:

@wlynks- That is a terrible photoshop job. Why would she post this picture

According to Just Jared, Maxim photographer, Gilles Bensimon, told one Instagram user in French, "I shoot this image of Ashley and we don’t slimmer her at all! Sorry, because you sound so convinced."
