How much would you spend to look just like your celeb crush?

R400 000 maybe?

This Texan woman Xochytl Greer, didn't mind paying the price to look like one of the most influential woman in the world the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. You could say she's definitely been affected by the #MarkleSparkle.

ABC News reports that the single mom of two who is also an attorney paid $30 000 to look like the former television star turned royalty, Meghan Markle.

Xochytl told ABC news that she had suffered with confidence issues since her split with her baby's father. She also spent a lot of time watching U.S. television series, Suits, in which Meghan starred before she went on to become Duchess of Sussex.

“My body has changed since having another child. My self-esteem was just lower because of the way things went with the father of my child. So that’s why I’m hoping that this will give me something that I need to get back out there,” she said in the article.

This is when she made the decision to do the transformation.

According to ABC, Xochytl underwent three major surgeries and two non-surgical procedures in order to exude the Markle effect. The first two procedures she did were jawline fillers, and thereafter she got Botox injections to achieve a "plumper face and lips."

Her first major surgery was liposuction followed by a lipid transfer to her bum cheeks, and lastly rhinoplasty to complete the transformation.

While I don't personally see a complete resemblance between Xochi (as her friends call her) and Meghan Markle, the confidence she has gained since her surgery is visible. It might've cost the price of a small apartment here in South Africa, but if that's the price one is willing to pay for happiness, then we all should be allowed that freedom of choice if our funds allow.
