Sometimes food truly is the best medicine. We can use what is on our plates to manage aches and pains and annoying ailments. What we eat can play a role in our joints overall health.

Some joint pain is caused by inflammation of the joints and other areas around them, by adjusting our diet we can reduce in the body. There's no such thing as a quick fix, however. Experts say that it can take three to six months of changed diet before you start to notice change.

Omega 3 fatty acids can help reduce inflammation. You'll find this in nuts, seeds and cold-water fish like salmon.
