6 Things to do when you find yourself in a slump of not wanting to do anything

Everyone goes through moments when they want to do absolutely nothing; here are some things you can do to help get you through those moments.

1. Roll with it

Sometimes not wanting to do anything is your body's way of telling you that you're getting close to or are already burnt out. Giving yourself a break can be beneficial.

2. Move your body

Do some physical activity outside. Changing your environment and getting your body moving can help motivate you to do other things.

3. Sort through your emotions

Journaling can help you put your feelings in perspective and come up with potential solutions.

4. Meditate

Not only does it help to release anxiety and stress, but it also trains your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts.

5. Vent to a friend

Reaching out to someone you trust can allow you to vent and receive actionable advice.
