Tired of selfies? Cape Town professional photographer Leandre Warren is "shooting for food", namely, pet food, in an animal charity drive.
One big bag of dog or cat food earns you five digital images on CD. It is, as Leandre says, "Perfect for new updated photos of the family and pure helping out!"
"They say that it takes a village to raise a child. In this case it takes us all to be able to raise the village animals just a little higher."
For extra images, you can donate additional much-needed items such as dog collars, leashes, blankets and even old towels.
The food and items collected will go to Tin Can Town, a non-profit organization that helps care for animals in the township Blikkiesdorp.
Leandre will be accepting donations in exchange for photographs at her studio from 10am to 4pm on the 8th and 9th of February. For more details, visit the Facebook event.
