It's easy to tell what was wrong in the past, and what's wrong in other countries, but it can be hard to recognize what's wrong in our own society.
When you're used to a situation, what's "normal" to us today can often be confused for something that is natural or fair.
So when someone spots an injustice and is trying to speak out against it, the response is often dismissal, derision, and denial.
This is why seeing a situation reversed can sometimes explain the problem perfectly.
