Embracing your beauty can be very hard to do when you are constantly being reminded of your imperfections.  There reminders are can be direct, indirect, subtle or  obvious.

In the article, Lift my heavy heart and heavy tits!, a reader shared with us how she felt after her husband failed to validate her beauty.

The article prompted some encouraging responses from our Facebook audience.

Juanita: I wish there were words I could say to make you feel better. You are a unique and beautiful woman. You need to see the beauty in your flaws. In the end, every scar or stretch marks is a sign of a brave and beautiful tigress that earned her stripes in life. Big hug.

Cherie: The reason why other woman look good they have money for personal instructor, chef, nanny, botox, fake tans, boob jobs, you name it. Have you seen those women without make up? Oh my word they don;t need masks for Halloween. What you got is natural and true beauty. So don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Cindy:  My don't forget who you are,you are beautiful and you still great, don't feel bad because he gave you know answer.you are unique.

Aviwe: This is sad. She should work out-Maybe that will make her feel better bout her body.

Chico:  Nothing wrong with your body girl. Time to change the love of your life.

Trudy:  Really, don't tell me you are going to lose sleep over a man's opinion only reason they were made first is to make sure the woman was made with no flaws - tell him to put that in his pipe and smoke it.
